1. General Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between First Limo GmbH (hereinafter 'First Limo' or 'the Company'), registered in Regensdorf/Zurich, Switzerland, and its clients (hereinafter 'the Client') in connection with the provision of chauffeur and limousine services.
By booking a service, the Client accepts these GTC in their entirety.
2. Scope of Application
These GTC apply to all services provided by First Limo, in particular:
- Airport transfers (Zurich, Geneva, Basel and other airports)
- Chauffeur service and private transfers
- Corporate client service and business transfers
- VIP and limousine special rides
- Event and wedding transportation
- Shuttle and taxi service
- Ski and holiday transfers
Deviating conditions of the Client shall only be recognised if confirmed in writing by First Limo.
3. Scope of Services
First Limo provides professional chauffeur and transport services with premium-class vehicles (predominantly Mercedes-Benz). The scope of services is determined by the respective booking agreement.
Included in the service:
- Provision of a well-maintained, insured vehicle of the booked category
- Professional, multilingual chauffeur
- Name board greeting for airport pick-ups
- Flight monitoring and adjustment for delays
- Complimentary water and Wi-Fi in the vehicle
- Waiting time according to the respective conditions
First Limo reserves the right to provide an equivalent or higher-class vehicle if the booked vehicle is unavailable.
4. Booking and Contract Formation
Bookings can be made by phone, email, via the online booking form or through our website. A binding contract is only concluded upon written confirmation of the order by First Limo.
The following information is required for booking:
- Full name of the Client
- Contact details (phone number, email)
- Date, time and pick-up location
- Destination address
- Number of passengers and luggage items
- Desired vehicle category
- Flight number (for airport transfers)
- Special requests (child seat, wheelchair access, etc.)
The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
5. Prices and Tariffs
Prices are based on the respective booking and are communicated prior to contract conclusion. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the statutory value added tax.
Additional costs may apply for:
- Waiting time beyond the included waiting period
- Additional intermediate stops
- Road tolls, parking fees and motorway charges
- Night and weekend surcharges (between 22:00 and 06:00 and on Sundays and public holidays)
- Special requests and additional equipment
Fixed prices apply only to the agreed route. Deviations at the Client's request will be charged accordingly.
6. Payment Terms
Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, TWINT or cash. For corporate clients, payment by invoice with a 30-day payment term is possible, subject to prior agreement.
First Limo is entitled to request advance payment of up to 50% of the total amount for bookings exceeding CHF 500.00 or for special rides.
In case of late payment, default interest of 5% per annum shall apply. All reminder and collection costs shall be borne by the Client.
7. Cancellation and Rebooking
Cancellations must be made in writing (by email to info@first-limo.ch) or by phone. The following cancellation terms apply:
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before scheduled departure: free of charge
- Cancellation between 12 and 24 hours before departure: 50% of the agreed fare
- Cancellation less than 12 hours before departure or no-show: 100% of the agreed fare
Different cancellation terms apply for special rides (events, weddings, multi-day trips), which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Rebookings are subject to availability and must be communicated at least 12 hours before the originally scheduled departure.
8. Liability
First Limo is liable for damages caused by gross negligence or wilful intent. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
First Limo is not liable for:
- Delays due to traffic conditions, road closures, third-party accidents, weather conditions or official orders
- Damage to items left behind in the vehicle
- Missed flights, trains or connecting services, unless attributable to gross negligence by First Limo
The Client is liable for damage caused by the Client or fellow passengers to the vehicle, in particular through soiling or damage to the interior.
9. Force Majeure
First Limo is released from its obligation to perform if fulfilment is rendered impossible or substantially impeded by force majeure. Force majeure includes in particular natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, strikes, official orders and other unforeseeable events.
In such cases, First Limo will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative. Payments already made will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
10. Data Protection
First Limo processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy at www.first-limo.ch/privacy-policy.
By making a booking, the Client consents to the use of their data for order processing and communication.
11. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing to info@first-limo.ch without delay, and no later than 7 days after the service has been rendered. The complaint must describe the matter in detail.
First Limo will carefully review each complaint and provide a response within 14 working days.
12. Amendments to the GTC
First Limo reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The current version is available on our website. For existing bookings, the GTC valid at the time of booking shall apply.
13. Severability Clause
Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that most closely reflects its economic purpose.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These GTC are governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and conflict of law rules.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Zurich, Switzerland. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
