Limousine Service Zurich with Private Chauffeur

Zurich has four centres, and a limousine service has to know all four. District 1 with Paradeplatz, Bahnhofstrasse and the headquarters of UBS (Bahnhofstrasse 45), Julius Bär (Bahnhofstrasse 36) and the private banks towards Bleicherweg; the hotels that go with them — Baur au Lac, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Storchen, Widder, Park Hyatt on Beethovenstrasse. Mythenquai and Enge with Zurich Insurance (Mythenquai 2), Swiss Re (Mythenquai 50/60), Swiss Life on General-Guisan-Quai and Google at the Hürlimann site and on Europaallee. Zurich West with the Prime Tower, the Schiffbau and the agencies; Oerlikon with Messe Zürich, the Hallenstadion and ABB. And the airport itself, where The Circle with the Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place, the Convention Center and corporate offices has become a business district of its own.

Add the addresses on the Zürichberg and the Gold Coast — FIFA on Zürichbergstrasse, The Dolder Grand, the villas of Zollikon, Küsnacht, Erlenbach and Herrliberg — the clinics (University Hospital, Hirslanden, Klinik im Park), ETH and the law firms around Bleicherweg, Genferstrasse and Löwenstrasse. Our chauffeurs drive these routes daily, speak English and German, know the hotel forecourts and the corporate access roads, and know which route is shorter at which hour — which in Zurich is rarely the one that is shortest on the map. Fixed prices are calculated at CHF 4.20 per kilometre in the Mercedes E-Class with a CHF 80 minimum; the S-Class, V-Class and Maybach are priced above that.

Zurich Airport is twelve kilometres north of the centre; the drive to Paradeplatz takes 15 to 20 minutes, to the Dolder 25, to Zurich West 15, to Küsnacht 25, to Zug 35, to Winterthur 20. Our Zurich Airport transfer starts from CHF 80 in the Mercedes E-Class — fixed price, no night surcharge, no luggage surcharge. Your chauffeur tracks the flight number and waits with a name board in Arrivals 1 (Docks A and B, Schengen flights) or Arrivals 2 (Dock E, intercontinental flights) — we know which from your flight number. The first 60 minutes of waiting after landing are included, so a slow passport queue or a delayed bag costs you nothing; if the flight is cancelled and rebooked we simply move the pick-up.

For departures we collect you at home, at the hotel or at the office and drop you directly in front of Check-in 1 or 2 — at four in the morning for the first flight to London, or on Sunday evening after dinner in Küsnacht. If you have time we drop you at The Circle, three minutes from check-in; if you do not, at the forecourt. Business aviation: we drive to the General Aviation Center on the north side of the airport (Jet Aviation, ExecuJet, Swissport Executive) and wait at the crew exit or, where the handler allows, planeside. For guests of the airport's paid VIP Service we take over at the VIP lounge.

In January we run WEF week in Davos with reserved vehicles and dedicated chauffeurs — booking from October is recommended.

Zurich's corporate clients need three things to be reliable: the airport transfer for guests, a car with chauffeur for days with several appointments, and someone to coordinate delegations and roadshows without an assistant spending the whole day on the phone. Typical programmes: a board member landing in Arrivals 2 in the morning, expected on Paradeplatz at ten, on Mythenquai at two and at the Kronenhalle at six; an investor day with three S-Classes between the Kongresshaus, the Prime Tower and the Dolder; a legal delegation that has to be moved between hotel, law firm and arbitration tribunal for four days without anyone learning the names.

For banks, insurers, law firms, clinics, agencies and corporates we open a corporate account: one monthly invoice with Swiss VAT itemised per ride and cost centre, a named contact who knows your assistants by first name, priority availability on the days when half of Zurich has guests at once — Zurich Film Festival, Weltklasse Zürich, trade-fair weeks in Oerlikon, WEF week — and, on request, a standing weekly schedule that runs without anyone having to book. Hourly chauffeur hire in Zurich starts from CHF 200 per hour with a two-hour minimum and 20 kilometres per hour included. For companies with zero-emission travel policies we run the fully electric Mercedes EQS and EQE — airport, city and Gold Coast are a fraction of a charge for both.

Zurich receives guests who do not want to be seen: family offices from the Gulf, artists before a Hallenstadion show, boards in the week of the annual general meeting, heads of state at the Dolder. Our VIP service means what the word means here: the car in place before the guest appears, doors opened, luggage taken without being asked, no phone at the wheel, no conversation unless invited, the route agreed with the security detail in advance, the same chauffeur for the whole stay. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is our vehicle for principals, the S-Class for board members and ministers, the V-Class for staff and security; motorcades with lead and follow cars are coordinated by one dispatcher.

We do not photograph, name or reference clients, and every chauffeur signs a confidentiality agreement. In January WEF week with daily runs to Davos; in April Sechseläuten, when the centre is closed for the parade, and the Zurich Marathon; in June the Zurich Art Weekend; in August the Street Parade, when nothing gets near the lake basin, and the Theater Spektakel on the Landiwiese; in September Weltklasse at the Letzigrund and the Zurich Film Festival with its timed green carpet on Sechseläutenplatz; in November and December the Christmas markets at the main station and in the Niederdorf and New Year's Eve on the lake. Plus home games at the Letzigrund and the Hallenstadion, premieres at the Opera House, concerts at the Tonhalle and galas at the Dolder, the Baur au Lac and the Kongresshaus.

Weddings in Zurich are logistics first: the civil ceremony at the Stadthaus on Stadthausquai, the church — Fraumünster, Grossmünster, St. Peter or one of the lakeside churches from Kilchberg to Küsnacht — photographs on the Lindenhof or the Quaibrücke, the reception at the Dolder, the Villa Boveri in Baden, Schloss Au, a Lake Zurich boat or the Rigiblick terrace. We provide the bridal car (S-Class or Maybach, ribbons on request), the family cars, the guest shuttles in V-Class and Sprinter and the airport meet & greet for arriving guests — coordinated by one dispatcher with a written timetable. The chauffeur stays for the day.

District 1 — Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse, Paradeplatz: Bahnhofstrasse is largely closed to private traffic; hotel pick-ups run via Talstrasse, Poststrasse, Weinplatz and the Rennweg access, main-station pick-ups at the Sihlpost/Europaallee or on Bahnhofquai. District 2 — Enge, Wollishofen, Mythenquai: the insurers, the Rote Fabrik, the Seebad Enge; Seestrasse towards Kilchberg and Rüschlikon (Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue) jams in the evening. District 5 — Zurich West: Prime Tower, Schiffbau, Puls 5; avoid the Hardbrücke in the morning. District 7 — Zürichberg, Hottingen, Fluntern: Dolder, Zoo, FIFA, Klinik Hirslanden; steep approaches, allow more time in winter. District 8 — Seefeld, Riesbach: Utoquai, La Réserve Eden au Lac, Opera House, Sechseläutenplatz.

District 11 — Oerlikon, Seebach: Messe Zürich, Hallenstadion, ABB, Oerlikon station — on fair days via Thurgauerstrasse rather than Wallisellenstrasse. Glattal — Opfikon, Glattbrugg, Wallisellen, Dübendorf, Kloten: airport, The Circle, Kameha Grand, Radisson Blu, Samsung Hall, Microsoft. Gold Coast — Zollikon, Küsnacht, Erlenbach, Herrliberg, Meilen: private residences, Seestrasse, 20 to 35 minutes from the airport. Left shore — Kilchberg, Rüschlikon, Thalwil, Horgen: Lindt, Swiss Re, private residences. Winterthur, Baden, Rapperswil and Zug belong to the daily geography and are driven at fixed prices with no approach fee.

The Mercedes E-Class is the Zurich standard limousine — quiet, comfortable, priced at the CHF 4.20-per-kilometre rate our fixed prices are built on. The S-Class is booked by board members, private-banking clients and guests of the Baur au Lac who want to work in the back; the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class for occasions where the arrival is part of the welcome — a gala at the Dolder, a premiere at the Opera House, a wedding on the lake. The V-Class seats up to seven with luggage and is the most-booked vehicle for delegations, families and ski groups heading to Davos or St. Moritz.

We run the fully electric EQS and EQE for companies with zero-emission travel policies and for clients who simply prefer it quieter. Every car carries water, chargers and Wi-Fi and is washed before every pick-up — in Zurich the doormen notice, and so do we. For larger groups — conference shuttles between hotels and Messe Zürich, site visits, company events — we use the Mercedes Sprinter. Child seats are provided on request at no charge; all vehicles run winter tyres in season.

For congresses at the Kongresshaus and Messe Zürich, for company incentives, schools, sports teams and delegations of twenty to two hundred people we run shuttle programmes with V-Classes and Sprinters: airport arrivals staggered across a day, hotel-to-venue loops in the morning and evening, a gala-dinner run to a restaurant on the lake or up the Uetliberg, and departures on the last day timed to each flight. This is also where a fixed price beats a meter. A Zurich taxi from the airport to Paradeplatz is charged by the minute in traffic; our transfer is a fixed CHF 80 in the E-Class, luggage, waiting and meet & greet included — and the V-Class for six or seven people costs less per head than two taxis. For recurring shuttles — a school run to the Zurich International School, a weekly staff transfer to Wallisellen or Rotkreuz — we quote a monthly flat rate.

From Zurich, Switzerland can be had in a day if someone else drives: the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen in 45 minutes, Lucerne and the Rigi in an hour, Einsiedeln in 40 minutes, Rapperswil and the upper lake in 35, Appenzell and the Säntis in an hour and a half, Davos, Flims or Engelberg in two, the Bürgenstock Resort in 70 minutes. A private chauffeur turns that into a day without changing trains: pick-up at the hotel, stops at your pace, back in time for dinner — or straight on to the airport. We book it by the hour or as a fixed-price day, whichever is cheaper for you, and the chauffeur stays with the car.

Hourly hire is from CHF 200 per hour with a two-hour minimum and 20 kilometres per hour included, billed in half-hour steps after that. The S-Class, V-Class and Maybach carry a class surcharge that we state with the quote.

Included in every price: the chauffeur, fuel, motorway vignette, Swiss VAT, meet & greet with name board, 60 minutes of waiting after landing at the airport and 15 minutes at any other address, luggage and skis, child seats, water and Wi-Fi. Not charged: night rides, Sundays and public holidays, airport surcharges. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pick-up; flight delays are tracked and never billed.
