Le Grand-Saconnex is the Geneva commune that lives closest to the airport's rhythm: the Cointrin runway borders it to the west, Palexpo and the Geneva Arena sit on the Route François-Peyrot, and the Route de Ferney connects the Place des Nations to the Ferney-Voltaire border crossing in a few minutes. The commune is home to the headquarters of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on the Route des Morillons, the Ecumenical Centre on the Route de Ferney, the business hotels of the airport district and quiet residential quarters around the Place de Carantec, Le Pommier and Colovrex.

A metered taxi makes little sense on rides this short: waiting time, a motorway detour or a trade fair at Palexpo can double the fare. First Limo charges a fixed price per ride — CHF 80 minimum, whatever the traffic on the Route de Meyrin — in a current-generation Mercedes, with a chauffeur who knows the Palexpo entrances, the terminal drop-off lane and the access points around the Place des Nations.

From Le Grand-Saconnex the Geneva Airport terminal is about eight minutes away via the Route de Ferney and the Route de Meyrin. For departures your chauffeur collects you at your door at the agreed time and drops you in front of the departures hall; for arrivals he waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, tracks your flight in real time and includes 60 minutes of waiting time after landing. The French sector of the airport and the business-aviation terminal are served on request at no extra charge.

The same CHF 80 fixed price applies to central Geneva — Cornavin station, Quai du Mont-Blanc, Rive, Champel — and to the Place des Nations, the Palais des Nations, the WHO on Avenue Appia or the ICRC on Avenue de la Paix. Beyond the city, prices remain fixed and calculated per kilometre: Lausanne from CHF 270, Montreux from CHF 400, Verbier from CHF 720 in the E-Class.

During Watches & Wonders in spring, EPHJ in June, the Automnales in November and the horse show in December, Palexpo draws tens of thousands of visitors a day and the Route François-Peyrot backs up. We build those slots into the pick-up time rather than into the invoice: the price stays the one agreed at booking. For exhibitors we run regular shuttles between the hotels of Le Grand-Saconnex, Meyrin and the city centre and the halls — in the V-Class for six people or the Sprinter for up to sixteen.
